To this end, we have developed a Sustainability Policy that aims to improve performance continuously across all areas of our operations.

Aims and Objectives
We aim to improve our environmental performance and contribute to sustainable development more generally by means of the following objectives:

• Complying with all relevant legislation, codes of good practice and contractual requirements
• Reducing energy consumption and improving energy efficiency
• Reducing resource use, re-using resources and recycling resources
• Reducing the number of journeys undertaken and using the least environmentally damaging mode of transport possible
• Taking account of social and environmental standards, as well as cost and other quality criteria, in all purchasing decisions
• Raising the awareness of all staff, contractors and other key stakeholders; and encouraging and supporting them to adopt practices that contribute to sustainable development
• Working in partnership with clients and suppliers to improve sustainability throughout our supply chain Carbon Offset

Carbon Offset
We recognise that many of our activities, from heating to driving, produce carbon dioxide. Whilst we aim to minimise this, we will also offset our carbon emissions using the www.climatecare.org/ scheme
